NIGHT

Photographing at night in Los Angeles is intriguing for me; the streets, buildings and storefronts become otherworldly. The city streetlights illuminate in subtle and dramatic ways. The images are, at times, stark and lonely, yet the simple beauty of the buildings or street landscapes is readily apparent at night. The shapes, colors, and arrangement of form show emptiness, expectancy, and continuity of the city captured in these "dark hours”.
